Only 9 Days to Christmas

Morning All

It is only 9 days to Christmas and the weather is becoming more like Winter now.  It is cold and damp and not good for those with health issues.  But what does that bother most of us? It doesnt me, but I am really looking forward to Christmas this year.

It is the first year we will have Children in the house since we married 15 years ago. My sister in law, hubby and 2 sons will be descending on us for about 10 days  but we cant wait.

All the pressies are brought nad wrapped and the tree is up.  The rest of the decorations need to be put up but they can wait until the weekend.

Christmas , has a really different feel about it for me this year.  I think it is because the kids will be here and we can be silly and funny without people looking at us funny.

But also it is the time of year when we think about the people we have lost and miss.  This year we lost my uncle Ken and Christmas Day is the anniversary of my Grandfather's death.

But that will not dampen our spirits, nor will the weather.  We will be warm and have our family and friends around us.  But we wont be forgetting those who have no one to share Christmas with.

This sounds like a a really depressing blog but Christams is the time for hope and reflection.
What will be your hopes and reflections for the future and from the past?

Hello All

I am gonig to attempt to blog my Christmas this year.  I have never done it before but would find it easier to do than Scrapbook it.  anyway I will try and get some scrapping done at the same time.

I will put some photos of my Layouts on here when I have got enough time to find them on the computer.

I enjoy doing 8x8 pages but would like the time and energy to do the 12x12 size
I have mainly done weddings and family layouts at present but will try and do something else in the new year.
